As Far as the Little Bundle of Joy

Last Friday, Adam and I went in for the 15 week check up. We heard the heart beat, which was at the average of what it should be now. The belly is growing a bit. It's at 13 cm, and it will eventually be that the cm equal the weeks that the pregnancy is along. We will be able to find out what the sex of that baby is in four more weeks. That will be October 6th. I think we will be finding out.

Also, they took another blood drawing to check for the quad-screening of some certain cases. We must be here in Colorado still, so that I can have blood drawn from this fantastic person. She doesn't make me tense, and it doesn't hurt at all when she puts the needle in, etc. I even looked at the vile this time. It was alright.

One other thing is that I have been getting some acne on my torso, so I've been using some over the counter topical lotion that is suppose to even out your skin and avoid breakouts. I asked the doctor if this could harm the baby. He said it is fine, and that all you have to worry about is the perscription medication. He DID say, though, that it must be a boy if that is happening. Adam thought that for sure if the doctor tells us that, that it must be valid. We will find out soon enough. ;) You better start making the bets now.

After the Game

After the game we went out on the town in Denver. We checkin to a Marriott, ate at a an Irish pub, and went to a piano bar. I know some of you reading this know of Sing Sing's. It was a good time, and here is a picture. Adam was in a picture too, but the photographer, whom we didn't know per say,
didn't get all of him.

Here's a p.s. to share. Anne Hughes, soon to be Steinhausen, has a birthday today. We celebrated a little bit this last weekend. Doesn't she look happy?!! See, turning a year older isn't such a bad thing. ;)

Last Weekend

Since it's been over a month since the last posting...and Morgan has put out a request for some updates, I've decided to show some happenings from last weekend.

This last weekend, we spent time with great friends. Anne and Lance came in from Iowa. Mike is now in Boulder. Russ flew in from Ft. Worth. Our friends up in northern Denver area, Adam and Meagan, drove down for the game too. We all had a chance to catch up and enjoy spending time together. That's the kind of time spent that keeps your heart happy and a smile on your face. It doesn't hurt that our CSU RAMS pulled out a 14 to 10 win over the Buffalos. Now CU is 0-2 and CSU is 2-0. What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. You can see the belly coming out in the picture with Anne and Kim. Here it comes. ;)

It had just finished raining pretty darn hard, and Lance was out in it. Adam is possibly eating or about to say something about the Rams. Anne is looking cute for the camera.

The stadium is in the background.
Adam and Anne are most likely talking to our neighbor tailgaters.
